Description
«The grave [...] is situated in the old part of the municipal cemetery on a hillside. Above the grave there is a crypt – A.G. Muravyova’s necropolis. [...] On the wall opposite the entrance [...] a cast-iron plate is affixed with the inscription that reads: “Keep your proud patience in the depths of Siberian ores, your sorrowful labour and cogitation’s high aspirations will not be lost”. Currently, a cross with a crucifix has been installed in place of the slab. Inside the crypt there are three tombstones. The grave of A.G. Muravyova is located to the right of the entrance. It consists of a tombstone on which a cast-iron plate with the inscription is installed. It reads: “Muravyova Alexandra Grigorievna, wife of the Decembrist Nikita Muravyov, passed on 22 November, 1832”.
Two more graves are located to the left of the entrance to the crypt: the grave of Olga Muravyeva, on whose tombstone there is a cast-iron plate with the inscription: “Olga Muravyeva was born on 29 December, 1830, passed on April 27, 1831” and the grave of Ivan Fonvizin, on whose tombstone there is an iron-cast plate with the inscription: “Ivan Fonvizin was born on November 21, 1832. Passed on December 16, 1833”».
