«Spatial and planning composition of the building: the house is rectangular in plan, mesures 14,46 by 8,8 meters and consists of 1-2 storeys. It’s an example of XIX century residental building with mezzanine, which is unusual for Chita typical urban development and is historically located at a distance from the historic red line of development on Selenginskaya Street. The silhouette of the building is formed by a mezzanine under a buttefly roof, which is located along the axis of the building, and single-story wings under a hip roof with a porch on the north facade under the balcony. Building structure are represented by an open-space saddle-notch log cabin with a log mezzanine with vertical planking under a butterfly roof that overhanges the balconies and held by rectangular pillars. Composition and architectural and artistic design of the facades include the log hewn unplastered walls, triangular pediments and balconies built to the width of the mezzanine on the south and north sides with the enclosure made of elegant wooden balusters. Rectangular window openings with wooden 8-pane frames are decorated with smooth frame platbands and have small rectangular cornices and panel shutters. On the 1st storey along the axis of the main southern façade there’s a wide opening with two frames, balcony openings with glazed folding doors, flanked by narrow 4-pane frames. Spatial planning structure and architectural design elements of the building’s interior are respresented by a wooden staircase in the middle of the building leading to the mezzanine with wooden balusters.
Spatial and planning composition of the building: the house has a rectangular plan, mesuring 14,46 by 8,8 meters and comprises of one-two storeys. It’s an example of nineteenth century residential building with a mezzanine, which is atypical for the usual urban fabric of Chita t and is historically set back from the historic building line (red line) of Selenginskaya Street. The silhouette of the building is defined by a mezzanine under a buttefly roof, located along the longitudinal axis of the house, with single-story wings under hipped roofs and a porch on the north facade under the balcony. The structure system consists of an open-space saddle-notch log cabin with a log mezzanine and vertical planking, surmounted by a butterfly roof that overhangs the balconies and is supported by rectangular posts. The composition and architectural artistic treatment of the facades includes hewn unplastered log walls, triangular pediments and balconies spanning the width of the mezzanine on the south and north sides, with balustrades composed of slender wooden balusters. Rectangular window openings fitted with wooden eight pane frames are framed by smooth platbands surrounds and topped with small rectangular cornices with paneled shutters completing the opening. On the first story, along the axis of the main southern facade, is a wide opening with two paired frames, and balcony openings with glazed folding doors, flanked by narrow four pane frames. The spatial planning structure and architectural design elements of the interior are characterized by a wooden staircase in the center of the building leading to the mezzanine with turned wooden balusters».
