«Constructed between 1812 and 25. One of Nerchinsk’s historic brick residential structures. It represents a rare mezzanine-equipped residence in Nerchinsk. It is an integral part of the square’s preserved historical urban fabric. A mezzanine with two balconies is situated at the building’s center. The primary compositional focal point is a four-column portico. The outer columns support the overhang of the mezzanine’s gable roof, and the central columns bear the balcony above. On the courtyard facade, a balcony with four slender columns is supported by metal brackets. The building’s volumetric-spatial layout and decorative treatment adhere to the principles of Classicism».
